Ann Deignan is a contemplative poet who invites us to rest in the beauty and tranquility of language, even when her subject is the dynamic, shape-shifting mystery of impermanence.

Ann has published two books with Schola, and has written a number of successful plays, performed throughout New York. With delicacy of language, Deignan elucidates the patterns we make in our wayfaring – from season to season, from shore to shore, from boundary to boundary – in our habits of migration.
